i really wanted to wear bright red pumps to my wedding, and eventually had to give in to the white heel. i am still a little sad about it, although the shoes i did wear were super comfortable.
Dude and I got married on a cold March Saturday in New York City. This blog chronicles the time of our engagement, through my complaints and frustrations with socially accepted wedding traditions, through navigating complexities when marrying into a different culture, through our awesome Manhattan 115-guest wedding that people said couldn't be done and didn't send us into debt, and now onto the aftermath.
I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I nitpick everything and do not accept LOL and LMAO and ROFL as valid forms of communication. Language is what distinguishes us as humans, let's not let it degenerate.

I like these. They're pretty and look quite comfy.

They're very pretty! And they'll go with lots of outfits later.
@lisa - they are very comfy! a little stiff around the edges but nothing that a couple of days won't fix.
@crazi - there was so much dancing at your wedding, comfort really was the key. that's why i'm refusing to go above a one inch heel.
@jessica - exactly! i tried them on while wearing jeans and i thought they would be used over and over again.
