But oh, how I tried so very hard to achieve that wavy hair. I even got a perm (yes, a perm!), but instead of getting beautiful wavy hair, my hair looked fried and I think I kind of looked like a cocker spaniel.
It wasn't until later on that I really loved the fact that I had all this thick straight dark brown to jet black (depending on the light) hair. And I do love it now.
But on my wedding day, I'm still holding onto the fantasy of wavy hair.
Though it's very likely it will end up like this:
Sigh. Decisions, decisions.

We think you are beautiful with your hair straight and down. No need to play into someone else's idea of beauty. We think you are beautiful, and obviously, so does Dude.
Gosh, the wavy girls want to be straight; straight girls want to be wavy; we love you the way you are.
Future other M and D

ah the desire to have wavy wedding day hair. remember when i got my wavy hair do? and it unwaved as i was walking to the van...to drive to the ceremony? oh asian hair, why did i try to make you someone you're not.
@crazi - haha yeah your hair was as straight as it always is by the toasts. my hair held up at your wedding, it was still wavy the next morning after i had sweat through it all night dancing and slept on it funny.
I always try and straighten my hair, but I am always trying to make it look bigger, so I hear you on this. It's THE JERSEY WAY.
I can suggets what worked for me: do a hair trial. See how long the curls last on a night out.
